What you'll learn#
Prerequisites#
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
- A WhaleTracker account (sign up at whaletracker.io)
- Access to a cryptocurrency exchange account (e.g., Binance, Coinbase)
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency trading
- Installed tools:
- WhaleTracker app version 1.0 or higher
- A web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
Visit whaletracker.io and click on the "Sign Up" button. Fill in the required information and verify your email address to activate your account.
Log in to your WhaleTracker account. Navigate to the "Settings" section and select "Connect Exchange." Choose your exchange from the list and follow the prompts to link your account securely.
Once your exchange is connected, go to the "Whales" tab. Browse through the list of available whales and select the ones you want to follow. You can filter by performance metrics to find the most successful traders.
In the "Copy Trading" section, configure your preferences. Set the percentage of trades you want to copy and any limits on your investment. This ensures you control your risk while leveraging whale strategies.
After setting your preferences, activate the copy trading feature. WhaleTracker will now automatically replicate trades made by the selected whales in your exchange account in real-time.
Regularly check the "Dashboard" to monitor your trading performance. Adjust your settings as needed based on market conditions and your investment goals.
